============================
We
discussed the plan. We would roll on up to the garage and Potato
would dismount with some of the others. They would use the
intimidation factor to browbeat the guards and the doctors to hand
over the meds we needed. That was the plan. It did not work out that
way.
We
rolled on up as planned. Potato, Griff, Robinson and Macron
dismounted and moved toward the crowd. The some yahoo on guard starts
pointing at Klasha and starts yelling. Klasha went white and I asked
her what he said. She said one word: spy.
Now
that everything has been prepared, it is time for the characters to
enter the parking garage.
Scene
Setup: Potato, Griff, Robinson and Macron will dismount. Harris
will move o take over the turret.
Potato
will lead the group forward and push past the guards, bellowing that
he wants to see the doctor in charge immediately. Making use of his
bulk, he will tell the doctor to hand over the medicine needed before
having the others load up the meds. The group will then remount and
drive away.
That
is the plan anyway.
The
modification roll is 6, which is equal to the current Chaos Factor,
meaning the scene will be modified. Since the number rolled was even,
the scene is interrupted. This is something unexpected, like a random
events. To help us determine what it is, we roll like we did for a
random event:
- Event Focus: PC Negative
- Event Action: Stop
- Event Subject: Good
Now
for the art of interpretation. Something negative happens to a PC
that stops them from doing good. We should probably think about which
PC it is. There are nine PCs and a random roll reveals that Klasha is
the focus of the event. All I can say is no, not again.
From
her back story, we know that Klasha was a counter-intelligence agent
in Berlin before the war. It is quite possible that someone may have
recognized her. Let’s ask the GME.
[GME:
Does
someone in or around the aid station recognize Klasha as a government
agent?
- Chaos Rank 6
– Unlikely
(50%
- Berlin
is relatively close but it is a big world)
- 46%
- Yes]
That
is bad. That means the group’s cover is essentially blown. There
are three possible groups that may recognize, the guards, the group
of medics or the civilians. The closest groups are the guards and the
civilians. The Soviet guards may have been active in the GDR before
the war, so that makes them the most likely candidates.
[GME:
Does
one
of the guards at the entrance
recognize Klasha as a government agent?
- Chaos Rank 6
– Likely
(85%)
- 13%
- Exceptional
Yes]
Going
from bad to worse. The person recognizes her immediately. The person
may have met her before.
[GME:
Has
the person ever met
Klasha?
- Chaos Rank 6
– 50/50
(65%)
- 55%
- Yes]
So
the person has met Klasha. It could have been before or during the
war.
[GME:
Did
the person ever meet
Klasha before
the war?
- Chaos Rank 6
– 50/50
(65%)
- 97%
- Exceptional
No]
Someone
Klasha has met but during the war. It is possible that the person was
a POW, detainee or such that may have been interviewed by Klasha.
Maybe they did not part on the best of terms.
[GME:
Was
the person questioned by Klasha?
- Chaos Rank 6
– 50/50
(65%)
- 23%
- Yes]
So
we have a former prisoner questioned by Klasha during the war that
has just recognized her. That is not good. The person may have a
grudge. That is probably what Marshall saw in the introduction.
