0005c - Cleaning up the Mess– 0245 18 JUL 2000

After the smoke clears, the team pushes Tom over bridge and uses the vehicle to block the road. Jerry is set up on the other side, with Potato providing cover on the big .50.

The group has sustained the following wounds:
  • Marshall – Scratch wounds to the Chest and Left Leg. The wound to the chest is blunt trauma and cannot get infected.
  • Griffin – Scratch wounds to Head, Chest, Abdomen, Right Arm, Left Arm, Right Leg and Left Leg. The wounds to the head, chest and both legs are from concussion and cannot get infected.
  • Harris - Scratch wounds to Head, Chest, Abdomen, Right Arm, Left Arm, Right Leg and Left Leg. The wounds to the Head, Abdomen and Left Arm are from concussion and cannot get infected.
  • Mitchell - Scratch wounds to Head, Chest, Abdomen, Right Arm, Left Arm, Right Leg and Left Leg. The wounds to the Head, Chest and both arms are from concussion and cannot get infected.
Logan is the primary care giver. He has a doctor‘s medical kit and provides first aid for the wounded. His medical (trauma aid) asset is 17. The results are:
  • Marshall – Scratch wounds to the Chest (pass) and Left Leg (pass – no infection).
  • Griffin – Scratch wounds to Head (pass), Chest (pass), Abdomen (pass – no infection), Right Arm (pass – no infection), Left Arm (pass– no infection), Right Leg (fail) and Left Leg (pass).
  • Harris - Scratch wounds to Head (pass), Chest (pass – no infection), Abdomen (pass), Right Arm (pass – no infection), Left Arm (pass), Right Leg (pass – no infection) and Left Leg (pass – no infection).
  • Mitchell - Scratch wounds to Head (pass), Chest (pass), Abdomen (pass – no infection), Right Arm (pass), Left Arm (fail – no infection), Right Leg (pass – no infection) and Left Leg (pass).
Logan patches them up, hands out children‘s band aids and sends them on their way. There are no serious wounds.

The team collect the equipment and weapons from the marauders. The haul is:

  • L7A2 w/290 rounds belted
  • FN-FAL with 3 magazines and 8 loose rounds -1 round
  • 2 M231 with 9 magazine and 20 loose rounds – 2 loose rounds
     
  • 3 Fragmentation Grenades
  • 15kg of MREs 
  • 13kg of Domestic Food
  • 12kg of Wild Food
  • 8kg of Soviet Field Rations
The team spend the rest of the period cleaning up. The period counts as hard work (combat).
