0005d - Food, Rest and Maintenance – 0600 18 JUL 2000

The team is going to take a break and shelter in place while the repairs are conducted. They will eat and rest. Mitchell will begin to repair the HMMWV Tom first, concentrating on the engine.

The team consumes 12kg of domestic food and loads the rest into the HMMWV. Harris will take the first two periods of guard duty.

Then engine has suffered major damage and will require 2 parts to repair. The Mark-19 is also damaged and will require 1 part. Currently, the team has no derelicts of similar weapons to cannibalize from.

Caitlyn replaces the Mk-19 with the recently captured L7A2. The team replaces the grenades that were expended from the captured grenades and the reserves from the HMMWV.

The team spends the rest of the day loading the booty into the ¾-ton truck and relaxing. No encounters happen during this time.
