The scavenging group returns to the camp. They have been unable to located the needed parts. With heavy heart, the team decides to abandon Tom. The remaining equipment and supplies are divided between Jerry and the new ¾-ton truck, which is given the callsign Bud.

The team spend the rest of the day resting, healing and taking some downtime.
